I am too young to remember him, but what do the older WHOers feel about Keith Robson? He doesn't get many mentions when talking about that era, but what I have seen of him he looked pretty decent.

Pat Holland. Everyone knows how hard he worked, but he could play too. Mind you, he's had a few mentions, so maybe he actually wasn't underrated at all.

Of those not mention Tim Breaker. Bishop was definitely not “rated” by fans during some of his time. Kevin Keen is a good shout.

Not even joking when I say Carlton. Seven England caps, 47 West Ham goals. Most people like him but hardly anyone rates him.
He wasn't much cop towards the end, but he was the definition of a solid pro.

Lampard was very lucky that helot his move to Chelsea at the time he did, they built a team around his strengths and allowed him to blossom, having the likes of Makalele, Robben, Terry, Desailly, Drogba around him truly got the very best out of him. I remember O'Leary saying he had a deal agreed with him to go to Leeds, but Chelsea stepped in at the last minute. Would've been a very different player if he ended up at Leeds I reckon
Coaches and managers always described him as the player that wanted it the most, it's amazing what you can achieve with determination and a little luck along the way.

Antonio - gets dogs abuse recently, but a very useful player.

Hugo Porfirio - loved him. His career after West Ham indicates he was possibly underrated or, I could’ve massively overrated him, and he could’ve actually been shit

How the hell can you say Frank Lampard Snr was under rated?? He'll be in the vast majority of WHU fans all time top XI?
I just feel and this is only my opinion of course that the likes of Bonds, Brooking, Pop Robson and later Devonshire, Stewart, Martin and Cross took the limelight away from him.
